Apple has released iOS and iPadOS 18.3.2 for compatible iPhones and iPads. The update brings important bug fixes, security enhancements, and resolves an issue that prevented some streaming content from playing.
What’s New in iOS 18.3.2
WebKit Security Patch
The update includes a supplemental fix for a WebKit exploit originally addressed in iOS 17.2. The vulnerability allowed a specially crafted website to bypass the Web Content sandbox and potentially compromise devices. This patch closes that gap.
Apple Intelligence Re-Enabled by Default
iOS 18.3.2 re-enables Apple Intelligence by default. Users who prefer not to use it will need to revisit Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri to disable it. This is a recurring pattern — a similar reset was reported after the iOS 18.3.1 update.
Streaming Fix
A bug that caused some streaming content to fail to play has been resolved in this update.
Companion Releases
Alongside iOS 18.3.2, Apple also released:
- Safari update
- macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 for Mac
- visionOS 2.3.2 for Apple Vision Pro
- tvOS 18.3.1 for Apple TV
